7 colour trends you can’t live without this season

I know we’re currently wrapped up in woolly jumpers, coats and boots and wondering if the sun will ever shine again. But before we resign ourselves forever to our back-to-black wardrobe, here’s a taster of what colour trends Pantone, the global authority on colour has released, that we can look forward to when we bask in the sun again come spring.

There’s a wonderful mix of chic styles to get excited about this coming S/S, from bold fiery reds to classic blues, vivid saffron to unexpected aqua shades.

Flame Scarlet

Bold, bright, warm and energetic, this fiery red hue shouts confidence and is a clear statement colour.

Faded Denim

This blue shade is as reliable and dependable as your go-to pair of jeans. It says relaxed and laid back and looks chic when paired with bold and vibrant colours.

Biscay Green

Last spring we saw pistachio and lime green hues dominate our feeds. This year, it's all about a cool and refreshing aqua shade. Wear it with any shade of pink for the prettiest springtime look.

Coral Pink

Combining the warmth of coral with the delicacy of pink, this feminine hue look stylish both day andnight—perfect for evening affairs when it comes in textured fabrics, such as silk, sequins and tulle.

The vivid shade of orangey-yellow adds a bold touch to your outfit exuding an optimistic outlook.

More green! But this time the shade is much darker, richer and herbaceous. Chive actually serves as a great neutral hue and pairs beautifully with a plethora of colours— especially saffron.

It wouldn't be spring or summer without a heavy dose of white to get us in the warm weather mood. Varying in textures and shades from subtle oyster mushroom to brilliant white, you can never go wrong with this neutral shade.
