Who could forget Sex and the City’s Samantha and her obsession with men and sex, she had an insatiable appetite for it. Now that’s pretty much how I feel about jewellery, I’m a complete addict! And it doesn’t stop there…..oh, travel, art. music, lifestyle, food… ok you get the picture.

But just like Samantha and her men, the choice of blogs on offer is endless and every day there are new bloggers popping up around the globe. Let’s face it, who hasn’t lost days at a time having fallen into the Insta/Pin abyss looking for online style inspiration?

Well those days are over peoples!

I’ve been busy trawling through the great, the good and the crap to put together a definitive list of some fabtabulous blogs that will provide you with inspiration a go-go, save your sanity and perhaps your sex life!

In Detail– Being a former jewellery designer herself and with a stint designing for Shaun Leane under her belt, Beanie Major knows a thing or two about the world of jewellery. Her blog features interviews with some of the industries top names, reviews of hot up-and-coming designers as well as the latest trends from the street and the catwalk. Covering ultimate accessory style tips and an instagram feed that’s a gem lovers sparkling heaven, In Detail will keep you one step ahead of the game and drooling.

Love Gold - If you are a magpie for all things gold and shiny, then you’ve just found your nirvana! Love Gold scours the world to find the most beautiful gold jewellery, the designers that create it and the people that wear it. An inspirational site featuring stunning photography and styling tips as well as shopping guides and featured contributors, it’s a must read for all you gold lovers.


Sincerely Jules – Julie Sarinana, the beauty behind Sincerely Jules is renowned for her laidback glamorous style, (the essence of what we stand for at Jitterbug Jewellery), and chronicles her daily style, travels and life inspiring her followers one high fashion outfit at a time. A big foodie as well, Julie often shares photos of the stunning meals she enjoys on her adventures so beware, as this will give you serious food envy and a hungry tum.

Gemologue – Featuring exquisite global discoveries, exclusive interviews, unusual and rare jewellery reviews and trendy urban street styles, Gemologue celebrates a heady mix of fine, fashion and vintage jewellery. A real Aladdin’s cave of sumptuous jewels not to be missed.


Man Repeller – Leandra Medine’s blog Man Repeller has become a go-to destination for fashionistas around the world, with her quirky sense of humour and uber cool looks. Don’t be put off by the name, its creation came after a jokey conversation while out shopping with a friend about how ‘man-repelling’ all the fashion-forward outfits they loved were.
